Bitcoin price has passed the $36,700 mark


The first cryptocurrency continued its steady growth. On the night of November 8-9, the price of the Bitcoin overcame the level of $36,000 and then reached $36,700.
Top altcoins also rose in price, lagging behind the dynamics of the market flagship.
At the time of writing, digital gold is trading at $36,700, while Ethereum is trading around $1920.
Total market capitalization is $1.42 trillion and bitcoin’s dominance index is 50.3%.

Analytics provider CCData reported that total trading volume on the CEX in October increased 87.2% from September’s figure to $632 billion. The metric showed growth for the first time in four months.

MN Trading founder Michael van de Poppe forecasts the total market capitalization to grow to $1.8 trillion after a likely consolidation of the figure in the $1.15-1.3 trillion range.
Earlier, prominent experts pointed to the prerequisites for bitcoin’s price to move toward the $40,000 mark, noting in particular the growth of open interest in digital gold futures.
